Then why do we label this publication The Evening Vanguard?
The answer is that The Evening Vanguard moves at the head of a figurative army.
And evening because we will publish in the evening hours.
Hence The Evening Vanguard.
Personal and Financial Freedom
I said The Evening Vanguard moves at the head of a figurative army.
Its weapons are not tanks. They are not cannons or rifles.
Its weapons are ideas. Its weapons are principles. Its weapons are convictions.
And today, Dec. 9, 2025, we take up arms.
We hoist our colors, fix our bayonets, set our jaws… and sally forth in the causes of personal and financial freedom.
Our mission will be to assist you in expanding both — personal and financial freedom.
We will publish, after all, under the banner of Freedom Financial News.
Conceived in Skepticism
Is the economy truly expanding? Is the stock market truly booming? Is the United States government truly telling you the truth?
The Evening Vanguard will demand proof.
That is because this publication is conceived in skepticism. It does not trust. It verifies.
This publication is distrustful of government.
It pledges to give it to you straight — or at least attempt to give it to you straight.
Its compass may not always indicate true north.
It may sometimes send us straying off course — at times far off course.
Yet if this publication errs, it errs innocently.
In brief, The Evening Vanguard is not a prophetic publication.
It looks not into clear crystal — but into dense fog.
If you seek the winning lottery number, you will not find it here.
Weather vs. Climate
Climate is what you can expect. Weather is what you get.
Our focus centers upon climate.
As a daily publication, The Evening Vanguard will report the fluctuating financial and economic weather.
Yet the financial and economic weather is not necessarily the financial and economic climate.
Should you jump aboard the latest stock market rally? Is the recent movement in interest rates a mere transience? Should you jettison your gold after the recent selloff?
These are the weatherman’s questions. They are not the climatist’s questions.
Again: Our focus centers upon climate.
The Evening Vanguard will not instruct you to do a single thing. Nor will it advise you against doing a single thing.
We merely tack our note upon the community bulletin board… as a man might post notice of a yard sale… or announce a death.
You may choose to stop and look it over. You may even take it aboard. Or you may simply push on, unmoved and uninterested.
It is all one to us.
You’re Our Only Boss
Above all: The Evening Vanguard answers to no one but you, our reader.
We are not the mainstream media.
Thus we pound no corporation’s drum, blow no stockjobber’s bugle, dance no government’s waltz.
That is why we enlist anti-mainstream subversives like Robert Kiyosaki, Porter Stansberry, Jim Rickards — and more.
These are wealthy men who know Wall Street is against the little man.
That is precisely why these gentlemen are with the little man. It is precisely why they stand robustly and wholeheartedly in his corner.
We’re Not Out to Change the World
Please understand: The Evening Vanguard holds out no solution to the sorrows of this world.
This publication lacks all messianic ambition.
It merely attempts to understand the world around it — as this world actually is — not as it would be.
Yet what spectacle that world provides. What theater it provides. What circus it provides…
What comedy it provides.
