Middle East on the Brink?

Middle East on the Brink?

Dear Reader,

Everything’s happening at once. The VP debate. The attack on Israel. It’s hard to pick a starting point. But Iran’s missile strike on Israel? Yeah, that demands attention.

  • Iran launched close to 200 ballistic missiles at Israel, overwhelming its air defenses and potentially hitting critical military targets.
  • Israel claims to have intercepted 90% of the missiles, but video footage shows numerous impacts, including a possible strike on Israel’s Nevatim Airbase.
  • The attack may escalate into a broader conflict, threatening oil prices and pushing the U.S. into deeper involvement, with severe economic consequences looming.

Iran didn’t hold back this time. They fired off nearly 200 ballistic missiles, aimed right at Israel. They say it’s payback for Israel’s attacks on Hezbollah, their proxy in Lebanon. Israel’s keeping quiet about the damage, but I’m not here to guess. I’ll stick to what we know.

Ballistic missiles. Not the slow drones and cruise missiles they tried in April. This was heavy. Iran claims 80% of their missiles hit. Israel says it shot down 90%. Both can’t be true.

But video doesn’t lie. Missiles hit. No fewer than 12 landed in one spot, like a synchronized punch to the gut. And that’s just one clip.

Word is, they hit Nevatim Airbase. One of Israel’s biggest. And it’s guarded by some of the best air defenses in the world. If Iran broke through, that’s bad news for Israel. Real bad.

These weren’t just any missiles. Some were hypersonic Fatteh-2s. Fast. Impossible to stop. They’re deadly and they proved their point: Iran can hit whenever it wants. Next time? Worse.

Now, this attack wasn’t cheap. For Israel, the cost to defend was sky-high. The interceptors they used? Arrow missiles. David’s Sling. Millions of dollars gone in seconds. And Israel can’t make these interceptors fast enough. They won’t last if Iran keeps pushing.

So, what’s next? Iran’s foreign minister says no more attacks if Israel doesn’t retaliate. But Israel? They’re not backing down. They’re talking about hitting Iran’s oil fields. Or worse.

This could spiral out of control. Easily.

Why now? It goes back to August. Israel killed a Hezbollah leader and a Hamas bigwig. Iran promised revenge, but stayed quiet. Maybe Russia told them to cool it, with that big BRICS meeting coming up.

But last week, Israel killed Hezbollah’s political head. And an Iranian general. Iran couldn’t take it anymore. They had to strike back, or look weak in front of their proxies.

Now, it’s Israel’s move. And whatever happens next, it’s not just Israel’s problem. Oil prices could skyrocket. We’re talking economic meltdown territory here. Recession? We could be in one before you know it.

Time to get ready. Hold cash. Buy gold. And fasten your seatbelt. Things are about to get rough.
